    The Head of Platform Services and Head of Tooling Services are looking for Chapter Leads for their organizations.


    As the Chapter Lead, you will be responsible for building expertise and maintaining a common approach to similar activities within your chapter. You will be responsible for the staffing of the chapter, acting as a coach, building and developing chapter members, understanding and identifying their needs and implementing appropriate actions as well as organizing the resource allocation to squads within the organization. As the leader of the chapter, you must provide technical assistance to squads, organize knowledge transfer and orchestrate the performance management for the chapter members. As a member of a squad, you will interact with other squad members to achieve the squad objectives.



    Acting as a Chapter Lead


    Designing and enforcing work standards

    • Define professional standards/work methodology within the Chapter competence
    • Develop and train employees, increase productivity
    • Set up interaction and knowledge sharing processes among Chapter employees in different Squads
    • Ensure craftsmanship development, i.e., steering on how and standards a member uses in his/her your job



    HR management

    • Hire, reward, motivate and develop team members of the chapter in order to have qualified, competent and motivated employees
    • Prepare decisions to hire/dismiss Chapter employees and consult with the Squad and the Head of Platform Services or Head of Tooling Services for the resource allocation
    • Agrees personal development goals and completes final assessment of Chapter employees, including collecting feedback from Product Owner, Agile coach and adding his/her own views on the individual’s craft development and conducting performance dialogue
    • Resolve organizational issues of keeping the Chapter members at work, plan and account for absences
    • Advice and counsel employees on issues related to own area of responsibility in a professional manner




    Acting as a squad member

    Collaborate with team to achieve key objective and result of the squad (50% of time)

    Experience and knowledge / Affinity

    • Recognized as subject matter expert
    • Proven experience in leading, coaching and mentoring technical staff
    • Passionate about people management and people development
    • Extensive experience of working in environments involving Agile development
    • Background that comprises both solid business understanding as well as high level understanding of high-quality technical product delivery
