Your responsibilities will be to - Design, develop, integrate third party components, test, install and support programs/systems;
Analyze detailed system factors: input/output requirements, information flow, hardware/software requirements, kernel settings, etc…;
Participate in the definition and implementation of software components;
Collaborate with colleagues as a team to develop high quality products for customers;
Support the delivered software and become part of a 'Center of Expertise' problem solving team
Seeking a candidate with strong programming skills using any of the following: Java, C, C++, PL, PLSQL and have exposure to Unix environments (Linux, Unix, red hat ect).
The candidate should have had relevant exposure to the development of highly scalable, resilient and secure software.
Experience in any of the below skills is desirable:
C/C++ compilers, linkers, debuggers, profilers. - Java knowledge is an asset. - Exposure to various OS platforms: Windows, UNIX (Oracle Solaris, AIX, HPUX), Linux (RedHat), common development on multi-platform and VM environment. IPC and kernel settings management.
Network protocols: TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, HTTP/S, UDP, SNMP. - Communication middleware: Web technologies (Web Services, SOAP), IBM WebSphere MQ is an asset
Software development environments and tools: Configuration Management (ClearCase), Integrated Development Environment (Visual Studio or Eclipse), Change Management.
