    The role:

    Within the organization the DCIM (Data Centre Infrastructure Management) group is responsible for establishing and executing medium to long term plans for SWIFT Mission Critical Infrastructures installations (Data Centers), participate in related strategic initiatives, organise design specifications and lead studies for all facilities and Data Centers (DC) Computer Floor related matters.

    To participate in the design and execution of small mission critical related projects - mainly in the electrical, mechanical, controls, physical security and low voltage fields - as well as in daily activities.

    Responsibilities

     Under the supervision and coaching of the Team Manager, Lead Engineers & Projects Managers:
    • Participate in establishing Design standards for Data Centre (DC) floors Facilities and IT Infrastructure together with in-house and external specialists
    • Participate in the preparation and update of medium to long term plans for DCIM facilities and physical security installation
    • Participate in the preparation of technical specifications for Mission Critical Data Centre installations within given design criteria, in site investigations and provide assistance in feasibility studies
    • Establish small project work schedule and participate in preparation of construction contract with local contractors according to country planning
    • Provide support in following up the purchasing aspects of the projects
    • Organise and coordinate on-site field activities and equipment delivery, participate in Construction Administration aspects of projects
    • Report regularly about project progress and project budget to Project Manager and Team Manager
    • Participate in site acceptance of installation with construction contractors
    • Provide technical documentation, support and training to DCIM Engineering customers after hand-over and in their daily work

    Qualifications

    • University degree in Mechanical, Controls (low voltage), Electrical Engineering or equivalent
