    SWIFT require a Key Client Relationship Manager to manage a number of high value accounts and to increase revenue and customer loyalty through both the development of a long term commercial strategy client relationships and acting as subject matter expert across business development. The Key Client Relationship Manager will join the London Key Account Team. The role will report to the Head of the Nordics and Deputy Head of UK and Ireland.

    The ideal candidate must have experience partnering with client’s executive management, in IT/operations, payment and/or securities and/or compliance functions and a successful track record negotiating and managing complex, solution sales with top tier financial institutions.

    The Key Client Account Manager orchestrates the assignment of subject matter experts on initiatives; directly guiding all regional and central staff to engage all necessary SWIFT resources and acts as the escalation point for all aspects of the relationship.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Creating a collaborative partnership by understanding the client’s and/or country business strategy and mission per key business line and explain where SWIFT aligns to this.

     

     

    • Thought leadership in the industry by increasing SWIFT’s visibility in the market and show casing our products and services.

     

     

    • Developing long term business/commercial strategy and plan with the customer for each of their key business lines; identify actionable opportunities.

     

     

    • Managing a virtual team that implements multiple projects/ initiatives in a manner that delivers on customer expectations and SWIFT’s goals.

     

     

    • Maintaining strong relationships within SWIFT, across regions, teams and HQ functions such as marketing, communications and legal.

     

     

    • Researching and analyzing the strategic business direction and needs of the account to determine how SWIFT can best align itself as a product and service partner for all current and future business needs of the account.

     

     

    • Identifying and developing new business opportunities by establishing, maintaining and enhancing long term relationships at executive level.

     

     

    • Have responsibility for Country Management in the Nordic Region.

     

     

    • Accountable to deliver on sales quotas, targets and overall revenue forecast.

     

     

     

    Qualifications

     

    • Demonstrable experience in sales and business development primarily within the financial industry across a specific market or portfolio of services.

     

     

    • Proven experience with large scale, global project or programme management

     

     

    • Proven track record of delivering on Sales targets

     

     

    • Proven track record of leading solution sales, demonstrating strong mix of business, technical and product knowledge executed in a consultative style.

     

     

    • Must have experience in developing strategic plans and the ability to develop innovative service solutions through market research to meet the current and future needs of our customers.

     

     

    • Must possess strong planning, organizing, customer service and presentation skills, along with strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop processes and procedures to improve effectiveness.
