Since launching SWIFT’s GPI - the new standard in global payments – financial institutions of all shapes & sizes are now sending and receiving funds quickly and securely to all corners of the world, with full visibility where those payments are at any given moment.
This transformational initiative dramatically improves cross-border payments and brings correspondent banking into the digital era. Moving beyond the traditional bank-to-bank space, GPI continues to focus on the end customer, delivering a drastically enhanced experience to corporates for whom speed, certainty and transparency on their payment flows is an absolute must.
In parallel to our continued reach and growing adoption, we are evolving complimentary value add features to further enrich the service, and re-inventing our platform based approach to incorporate new technology. To help build this new reality, we seek a go-to-market expert to manage the international marketing activities for a portfolio of complex products/services through their full life cycle.
Working collaboratively with colleagues from product, marketing and sales disciplines you will be accountable for:
Own and execute the go to market plans for the products in your portfolio
Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market
Identify opportunities to offer new or enhanced products and/or extension to new customer segments
Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales channels
Develop the sales tools and collaterals that support the selling process of your products & services
Identify opportunities to ensure customer satisfaction and retention levels are maintained at optimum levels
Drive through projects to implement your recommendations
Master’s degree in business or marketing with 10 yers experience, including 5 in a product/go to market role
Domain knowledge experience and a demonstrable interest in cross-border payments, domestic payments schemes or payment market infrastructures, retail/card payments, corporate treasury, cash management,
Considerable experience of working with or within some of the world’s largest global financial institutions
Strong interpersonal skills, innovative attitude, flexible, proactive, curious, service-minded and a strong team player
Excellent communication and presentation skills: modifies communication style to others, acknowledges and respects other views, comfortable to speak at public events, represent SWIFT. Fluency in English is absolutely required
Strong business acumen, customer orientation and problem-solving skills
Very good quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
