  • Responsibilities

    Your role will be to - Write information about a product or service to suit the needs and tasks of a specific user - Help organise the information so that it is easy to navigate when published online or in online help - Publish the information in a format suited for the information (HTML, PDF, online help) - Review and revise information for accuracy, relevance, and consistency - Ensure that the information is reviewed by subject matter experts and signed off for publication - Be an advocate for the user when designing and developing information about products and services - Work with IT teams to ensure that the information is delivered on time.



    Experience in writing information about technical, legal, or financial subjects for a specific audience type.


    Knowledge and expertise:

    Excellent writing skills in English - Ability to chunk and organise information for an audience type - Previous technical writing, communications, or publication experience an asset

    Technology - Knowledge of general computing or networking terms and concepts - Interest in technology and new trends - Knowledge of SWIFT products or services, finance, computing topics is a bonus

    Tools - oXygen Editor, XML or HTML editors, DITA are a bonus - Microsoft Office: Word and Excel - Windows, Linux, Unix operating systems

    General skills: - Team player, good communication and interpersonal skills - Willing to learn about technology products and services - Able to work to deadlines, and follow best practices - Comfortable with organising and synthesing information for an audience - Work quickly and accurately within strict time constraints
